At St Matthews Primary School, we are committed to promoting physical activity amongst our pupils. We have used some of our sports funding to provide after-school clubs, such as football on Mondays, karate on Tuesdays, and multi-skills on Wednesdays.

Pupils are regularly given the opportunity to participate in a range of tournaments and sports festivals, both with other schools (inter-competitions), so that children are able to take part in school sport in a safe and fun environment. A high percentage of our pupils attend these and demonstrate their key skills. What we have participated in this year is below with links to photos:
