How can I help my child develop their understanding of phonics?
Little Wandle Letters and Sounds has their own YouTube channel on which they have videos for each lesson within the scheme. These lessons are all public and you can access using the following link. You can show the appropriate lesson to your child to help them to consolidate their learning. You will also find parent guides on how to pronounce the phonemes in each phase.

Please find attached below our guide to forming capital letters.
In each class, we use the 'Grow the Code' phoneme mats. These support the children to make choices between which grapheme to choose when spelling words. Ask your teacher for a copy of this if you wish to use it at home.
