  • Boys Football Match Vs Langrish @ Oakmoor 6/11/24

    Our boys' football teams faced off against Langrish Primary School in 3 thrilling matches that not only showcased their skills but also their sportsmanship skills too.

    From the first whistle, it was clear that both teams were determined to play their best. The game was filled with impressive passes, strategic plays, and a few heart-stopping attempts at goal. Our team displayed excellent teamwork, communicating effectively and supporting each other on the field.

    The matches was a testament to the hard work the boys have put into their training. They played with enthusiasm and energy, demonstrating their growing understanding of the game. Their commitment to fair play was evident throughout, and they were gracious in both their successes and challenges.

    In the end, it was the spirit of the game that won the day. Both teams left the field with smiles, having enjoyed a fantastic matches. We are incredibly proud of our boys for their performance and the way they represented our school.

    Well done to all the players for their effort and to Langrish Primary School for being such worthy opponents. We look forward to more matches and the continued development of our young athletes.

  • KS1 Agility @ Eggars 23/10/24

    Sixteen enthusiastic children from our local school recently participated in a KS1 agility event, joining students from five other schools filled with fun and physical activity. The event focused on various body movements, saw the young athletes engaging in a range of activities designed to enhance their agility, coordination, and overall fitness.

    The children represented their school brilliantly, showcasing not only their physical skills but also exemplary behaviour throughout the event. Their dedication and sportsmanship were evident as they navigated through different stations, each presenting unique challenges aimed at improving their agility.

    Teachers and parents alike were proud of the students’ performance and conduct.

  • Tag Rugby @ Perins 9/10/24

    Recently, 22 enthusiastic children from our school participated in a thrilling tag rugby festival. The event was a fantastic opportunity for our young athletes to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

    From the first whistle, our team demonstrated incredible determination and cooperation. Each player contributed to the team’s success, whether it was through swift passes, strategic plays, or encouraging words to their teammates. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every match they played.

    Teamwork was at the heart of our performance. The players worked seamlessly together, supporting each other both on and off the field. They communicated effectively, made strategic decisions as a unit, and celebrated each other’s successes. This strong sense of unity and collaboration was key to their impressive performance.

    Despite the challenging weather conditions, which left the field quite muddy, our players remained undeterred. They embraced the mud and continued to play with great energy and enthusiasm. The muddy conditions only added to the fun and excitement of the day, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

    We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding performance and the way they represented our school. Their teamwork and positive attitude were truly commendable. A big thank you to all the parents and supporters who came out to cheer for our team. Your support means the world to us.

  • Handball @ Oakmoor 3/10/24

    The recent handball tournament at Oakmoor was a fantastic display of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. Two teams from Oakmoor, comprising Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 students, participated with great enthusiasm and skill.

    Despite both teams finishing in 4th place, their performance was nothing short of commendable. The Year 3/4 team showed remarkable coordination and energy, playing with a level of maturity beyond their years. Their ability to support each other and communicate effectively on the court was a highlight of their matches.

    The Year 5/6 team also demonstrated exceptional teamwork and resilience. They faced tough competition but never lost their spirit. Their strategic plays and quick thinking kept the audience on the edge of their seats. What stood out most was their unwavering sportsmanship. They played fair, respected their opponents, and showed grace in both victory and defeat.
