The Winners were St George (Red), if you would like to see KS1 Photos, KS2 Photos or Year 6 triathlon Photos. A big thanks to the Oakmoor students who helped to make the day run smoothly.

Sycamore Class visiting Oakmoor this week
We took 10 children to the Hampshire Games Festival at Winchester Leisure Centre. This event is for all schools in Hampshire - with over 500 children taking part in the festival. The children took part in four events - Hockey, Volleyball, Dodgeball and Lawn Bowls. The children really engaged in all the activities and presented the school brilliantly with activity leaders mentioning their sportsmanship and listening skills. We took 17 boys to represent St Matthews at the Boys Football Tournament. The boys ran their own teams, making sure everyone was having a go playing and encouraging and supporting each other. The two teams had varying fortunes, but both did well. St Matthews Yellow (Yr 6) finished 3rd in the main tournament and St Matthews Green (Yr 5) finished Joint 2nd in the plate Tournament.
