Lovely morning in the forest today with the lovely Rainbows! I've not had the pleasure of taking this group for forest school and they were amazing! We did some fire lighting which was tricky for all of the children but it was amazing to see how resilient and patient they were- not giving up trying! Some children managed to light some cotton wool independently which they were really proud of. The children also made some fairy doors at the bottom of some trees for our forest school fairies. We also found some beetles, ants, worms and a very strange looking insect that we tried to identify but Mrs 'Palm tree' couldn't find it on her app called seek.
