Newsletter May 18th
Hello everyone. Another interesting week has passed and we are approaching half term! Last week we were very busy processing information and guidelines to put together a plan for reopening school in June.
We have been open every day since ‘Lockdown’ so are fortunate to know what works well in our school. We have put together some information for you so that you can decide whether to send your children in when it is their turn. We want to provide a safe environment and also keep it as ‘normal’ as possible for the children so that they can reintegrate into school happily with their peers.
Initially we will only be inviting certain groups back and will do this alphabetically. In the information it asks you to let the office know if you would like your child to start back. We will then make the lists.
It is entirely up to parents; there is no pressure on you to send the children back and we will be continuing to put the work on the website. This is the work that the children in school will also be doing.
Please read the information and if you have any queries email Mrs. Still and she will pass them on to the staff.
Some of our staff will not be returning immediately because they are in the ‘shielding’ group and they must remain at home. If you have anyone in your household in that category you should keep your children at home.
Thank you for continuing to engage in many of our online activities; I hope the Sycamore Class Zoom quizzes go well this week!
Please contact the office via email if you need any printouts. Have a great week and keep safe.
Mrs. PH.
