Hello everyone. This week would have been 'SATs' week for Beech Class. They would have been in early for breakfast and hard at work with all the other year sixes in the country. We enjoy this week each year, it is a change in routine with the hall out of bounds but it is something we work towards and the children do their best. It is a new routine this year. We have children in the hall and spread out across the school maintaining 'Social distancing'. I don't think anyone could have predicted this a few months ago.

The latest news from the Government is that we will continue to be open for keyworker children. We do not have any further information about June onwards. We will communicate any changes to you when we know what the proposals are. The advice is still to keep your children at home if you can and keep your families safe.

We are very impressed by the range of activities you are doing at home and it was good to see that some of you enjoyed the VE Day celebrations in your gardens. The staff are enjoying spending time reading your children's work and communicating with you via the website, emails and phone calls. If you do need anything printing out please email Mrs. Still and she will let us know.

We still have a few games and puzzles left on the table outside. Dom, the vicar at Beacon Church kindly dropped off some brand new card games which have been very popular. Thank you Dom.

If you have any games or puzzles to swap please put them in reception.

We have created a new page under 'Our Learning' called music which will contain lots of activities linked to music. These should be updated each week.

We would have been having our prayer week this half term; the photograph is of last year's prayer space. Thank you to Oak Class for their prayers last week.
