Newsletter Monday 27th April
Hello Everyone,
I hope this newsletter finds you all healthy and still enjoying the lovely sunshine. The staff have spoken to many of you over the last week and phone calls will now continue with all our families to keep in touch. It is great to hear how you are being so imaginative and managing to balance work and play!
We have heard of three broken arms in the last fortnight; all at home. So the statisticians may be right most accidents do happen at home. We hope they recover quickly and don't need too many trips to the hospital.
We have had our official list of names for our new Rainbow Class and are just waiting for everyone to confirm their acceptance. We will endeavour to make arrangements to meet all the children before they start school and are already planning some 'alternative' events if our usual pattern can't take place. Welcome to any families who are joining us this September; we look forward to welcoming you properly and will make contact with you at the end of May.
SWAP SHOP
The Muggeridge family have kindly offered to organise a 'Swap Shop'. If you have any games or puzzles that you would like to swap please place them in reception area between 9.30 and 4 p.m. from Tuesday 28th April. We are operating social distancing so this will give you plenty of opportunity to pick or drop off items safely.
These will then be available for collection from Tuesday 5th May. If the weather is fine the games will be on a table outside otherwise they will be in reception. Please make sure all games are in good condition. We will not be cleaning the games at school but they won't have been used for 72 hours by the time they are picked up. This is a good opportunity to share and recycle and maybe have your daily exercise at the same time. Thank you to the Muggeridge family for organising this.
I have seen many families when out delivering post and we are lucky to be able to be out and about around here.
Please keep updating the class blogs and reading the latest updates on the website. The staff are working very hard to put a range of activities up; including Worship Times, songs, dances and videos. We enjoy reading what you are all doing too.
Our theme for Heart Smart this term is 'Fake is a Mistake' so remember you are all doing an amazing job being 'you' and keep your spirits up; hopefully we will be together again soon.
Take care everyone,
Mrs. PH.
