On 26th April 41 children and 6 adults went to Portsmouth Cathedral to celebrate St George. We heard a story about his life, listened to an organ piece about his deeds, designed a shield with our own coat of armour on and had a tour of the Cathedral culminating in dressing up as Monks. The Monks then had to put on their hoods and silently process through the Cathedral as though they were praying and in contemplation. It was a great way to celebrate this English Saint.
