Celebrating Captain Sir Tom Moore
A challenge to honour Captain Tom
Next Friday (12th Feb) St Matthew’s will be taking on the ‘a century of Captain Tom challenge’ to honour Sir Tom Moore. This challenge involves everyone doing/creating/making 100 of something. Every year group in school will be completing the challenge, with the children deciding what they would like to do. We encourage those of you to take part at home too. Some fun ideas you might like to do include:
- 100 star jumps
- 100 laps of your garden (like Captain Tom!)
- Making a 100 link paperchain
- Drawing 100 hearts
- 100 minutes of dancing
We’d love to see you all join in - please send any pictures of you and your challenge to your class teacher, and we will post these (along with the in school challenges) on the school website.
