On Thursday 8th October, St Matthew's will be taking part in 'Clean Air Day.' This day is about raising awareness of pollution caused by road traffic in our area.

We encourage you to walk to school (if you can) next Thursday to help to reduce our school's pollution.

In addition to this, we are also holding a poster competition. The children have been asked to design a poster which illustrates how they travel to school without a car. This could be a new invention that doesn’t use petrol, or it could be an existing method of transport. The information and template for this is downloaded below, along with the address you can send your entries to. There are prizes for the winners, and the winning designs will be displayed on the ‘My journey’ website.
