It was a very wet Forest School session for Apple class today. The children were very sensible and built dens for protection from the rain. Some of them used a tarp and others used natural materials.  The children enjoyed using the rope swing but unfortunately, they were unable to use the 'scramble net' because it was too slippery. Other children enjoyed whittling 'green' wood and I also saw some very interesting clay models.

Very few children complained about the wet weather, and it was lovely to see the children getting on and enjoying their time outside.
